Course Description
Prepares professionals and supporters of children and youth with special health needs or disabilities to advise on public health programs in Washington and Oregon and advocate for policies and priorities that impact these families.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe how federally funded Title V public health programs support Oregon and Washington CYSCHN
Identify how public health systems differ from clinical health systems when given examples
Name two policy priorities of Washington/Oregon Title V CYSHCN programs
