This month, we are highlighting Indigenous authors, scientists, legislators, and storytellers\u2019 ebooks, graphic novels, articles, and podcasts. Check out a new author or revisit an old favorite.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the American Indian Library Association sponsored the \u201cRead Native 2021\u201d event to encourage readers to explore the rich and diverse writings of Native Americans and people indigenous to this land. This news feature continues that reading challenge. While our collection is far from exhaustive, we hope this will be a good starting place for you.<\/p>\n<p>Native and indigenous authors write in every genre and format you can think of. Often, we tend to limit ourselves: \u201cI only read fantasy. I only like fiction.
