One in ten people will have a seizure and 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy during their lifetime. There are 470,000 children in the U.S. living with epilepsy. Epilepsy receives 10 times less funding than other brain disorders, yet it can impact how you learn, where and how you can work, how you interact with others, and how you feel about yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the world. If you have epilepsy, surges of electrical activity in your brain can cause recurring seisures.
