PCC Library is here to support your learning, research, and exploration. If you need help with research for a class assignment, are looking for a group study space, or want to borrow something to read (listen to or watch) for fun you\u2019ll find it in your library.<\/p>\n<p>Spring term library hours are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday &#8211; Thursday, 8:30 am to 7 pm<\/li>\n<li>Friday &#8211; Closed<\/li>\n<li>Saturday &#8211; Closed<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm (Cascade and Sylvania, only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/hours\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Library Locations and Hours<\/a> to check open hours for each campus library.<\/p>\n<h3>Visiting the library &#8211; In person and online<\/h3>\n<p>When the library buildings are closed, library employees are here to help you navigate the many remote services and resources we have available. Students, staff, and faculty can access research help and other support via<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/chat-with-a-librarian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> chat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/email-a-librarian\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">email<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/research\/research-help-appointments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> research help appointments<\/a>. Our online databases, streaming videos, books and ebooks are available from the search box on the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> library home page<\/a>. Maybe!\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/course-reserves-for-students\/\">Course Reserves search<\/a> to see if your instructor has given the library a copy of your course textbook to place on reserve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Research and Topic Guides<\/strong> \u2013 PCC librarians create guides to help you locate and use books, articles, and media from PCC Library and on the web.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/guides.pcc.edu\/papertopics\">Paper Topics Guide<\/a>: This guide provides tips for how to get started on your writing and research assignments. <a href=\"https:\/\/guides.pcc.edu\/papertopics\/AI\">Brainstorming Paper Topic Ideas with AI<\/a> is one of many helpful resources in the guide.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/guides.pcc.edu\/hispanohablantes\">Gu\u00eda de investigaci\u00f3n para Hispanohablantes<\/a>: This is a library guide for Spanish-speaking students at PCC. One of many helpful resources is the <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/1093155648?fl=pl&amp;fe=cm\">Intro to the PCC Library website video<\/a> (en espa\u00f1ol).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/guides.pcc.edu\/c.php?g=1358131&amp;p=10028493\">Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy at PCC<\/a>: This guide is intended to help you learn about and critically engage with generative AI tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Are you looking for good sources for your assignment?<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/\">Google Scholar<\/a> is a search engine from Google focused on scholarly literature. Results can include articles, theses, books, abstracts. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcc.edu\/library\/research\/google-scholar\/\">This page provides a quick overview of how to search and use Google Scholar<\/a>.
