Students and job seekers invited to PCC’s annual Trades Career Fair

Portland Community College is hosting its annual Trades Career Fair on Friday, April 24, at the Willow Creek Opportunity Center, 241 SW Edgeway Drive in Hillsboro. The event will welcome college students, community job seekers, staff and partner agencies from 1-4 p.m.

Spring 26 Trades FairMore than 70 companies are expected to attend. Notable employers attending the fair include Microchip, PGE, TriMet, Union Pacific Railroad, the City of Hillsboro, the City of Portland, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc., Leupold & Stevens and Vigor, to name a few

Parking is free and Willow Creek is accessible via TriMet bus lines 52 and 88 and the MAX Red and Blue lines.

Industries represented include machining, welding, HVAC, facilities maintenance, automotive, diesel, manufacturing, mechatronics, semiconductor, construction, public safety, transportation, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with employers, explore career pathways, and learn about companies that may help pay or reimburse education costs for employees.
