CNC Operator Readiness Essentials (CORE)

Want to train quickly to launch a good career? If so, this 2-week intensive training is for you! The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator Readiness Essentials program is grant-funded so offered at no cost to you. Learn the core skills you need for employment as an entry-level CNC Operator.

CNC operators set up, monitor, and control computer-controlled machinery to produce precision parts. The average base salary in Oregon is $20 per hour. Upon completion of the program, interview with local employers, or keep studying to advance your career beyond entry level.

Screening considerations

Prior experience with machines or manufacturing is not required to participate in this program. However, we are seeking candidates who want to work in manufacturing as a career, and want to learn the role of a CNC Machine Operator. To be eligible for this class, you must be able to work in the U.S., have intermediate English skills, and be able to attend all 10 days of training.
