Details about this class
This course is designed to prepare you for the Math GED Exam as well as higher-level college math courses. We will work on foundational material, reviewing concepts ranging from the language of math to estimation, decimals, fractions, and percentages. We will work on calculating everyday math problems and situations, from cooking to gas mileage. We will also prepare for the algebra you will encounter in Foundations of Math 2.
This class will meet over Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:50 PM starting April 7th. You will not need textbooks for this class, but you will need to feel comfortable with D2L and Zoom. Classes will be recorded if you need to miss, but plan on attending classes while they occur. Links and information are provided within the D2L course.
Please contact me at colleen.latimer@pcc.edu if you have any questions before our term begins.
I look forward to meeting you.
